Who is attending #WOWChester this year – the inaugural conference event at Chester’s new Storyhouse performing arts complex?
Find me there Friday, 19 May 2017 representing the AMAZING social enterprise Rocking Ur Teens CIC. I will be part of the Schools’ Day pre-conference event, exhibiting in the main hall Marketplace.
For those not yet in the know, Rocking Ur Teens is a Community Interest Company whose vision is to connect teens for a positive and vibrant future. They do this primarily through Teen Conferences, starting first in the UK with plans to expand globally within 3 years. The conferences focus on: Self, Collaboration, Career and Making a Difference and are aimed at 13-‐14 year-old girls and boys in Year 8 & 9 of school.
In addition, Rocking Ur Teens founder Jenny Garrett will be speaking at #WOWChester the following day, Saturday 20 May, on a panel entitled WOW: Smashing the Glass Ceiling- Women in Business. The illustrious panellist group includes:
